Southern Old Skool Meet – July 2011

This Wednesday it was time for the monthly S.O.S meet in Newton Abbot and unfortunately due to severe lack of moneys I couldn’t get along to it but thankfully once again some ace photographers were on hand to capture what looked to be an awesome turn out!

All the images are from either Luke Ross (LSR Automotive Photography) or Paul Cook (Cook24v). The pictures this month are all absolutely stunning!

Daniel Butler’s gorgeous arched mk1 Capri is always a welcome site at meets

As is Ben’s mint Rallye…

…That always gets admirers

Imported Jetta means rare 2 door loveliness!

Beetle breaking up the Mini parking spot

You can’t go wrong with a slammed Beetle

Clean wagon on splits showed up for the modern types

You can have satin or shiny, as long as it is in black!

Mk1 Fiesta is a bit of a weapon…

…mainly because of the Cosworth V6 and RWD conversion!

I can’t wait to see some more of the S.O.S crew this coming Sunday at Modified Mania, where we will be holding down the retro flag against all the moderns! I will get that report up ASAP after Sunday!
