Album Of The Day: The Chariot – Long Live

Norma Jeans old singer, Josh Scogin, started this band back in ’03 and has been making wonderfully insane mathcore ever since. This is the latest album and shit gets pretty experimental in places definitely more than The Fiancee

Best song is the proggy masterpiece ‘David De La Hoz’, spoken word pieces, piano and erm confetti make for an interesting video. I’ve actually put up this video before here and it was done all in one continuous take with the band actually playing live! So what you hear on this video is exactly what was playing and it isn’t overdubbed in anyway, impressive stuff and Noisecreep even named it the fourth best video of 2010.
