Album Of The Day: Glassjaw – Worship And Tribute

I’ve had Glassjaw on before way back in November last year with the amazing “Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Silence” album, this album is the last release they have done (so far a new album has been in the works for years…) and it continues with the same post hardcore sounds as before but includes a bit more of a pop feel to it rather than the abrasive metal tinged first release. Not that this is a sell out album or anything, as Daryl Palumbo (the singer) has said that this album is a much more happy and together album so understandably it is going to be a little more accessible and less abrasive and raw than the moody and dark debut.

Best song is “Trailer Park Jesus”, which has a slow almost grungy Dinosaur Jr feel to it. Oh and this is the only video I could find of the song…
