Album Of The Day: Chamberlain – Fate’s Got A Driver

Chamberlain - fates got a driver AOTD

Starting off as Split Lip they pretty much invented the early 90’s emo/hardcore crossover scene and this album got released twice once in 1995 as the second album from Split Lip and then again slightly remixed when they changed their name to Chamberlain and started taking a more Indie direction. Pretty much touted by everyone as the definitive 90’s hardcore emo album, most post hardcore that started taking shape in the late 90’s owes a hell of a lot to this one album.

Best song on the album is ‘Street Singer’. Sadly there is nothing on YouTube apart from some proper old skool live videos, so the quality is pretty terrible but cool anyway…
