Album Of The Day: The Ghost Of A Thousand – New Hopes, New Demonstrations

The Ghost Of A Thousand - New Hopes, New Demonstrations AOTD

Remember how bloody brilliant the first self titled The Bronx album was? Well now add some quintessintial grey Britishness to it and a sprinkling of much heavier hardcore, almost touching on Architects style and you have The Ghost Of A Thousand and this excellent album.

Switching between heavy punk and straight up hardcore it is a nice change from the generic hardcore coming out in spades at the moment and songs like ‘Running On Empty’ show just how much of a Bronx influence they have now.

Best song is ‘Knees, Toes, Teeth’ because it is just so rock n roll it hurts.
