Album Of The Day: Jello Biafra With The Melvins – Never Breathe What You Can’t See

Jello Biafra With The Melvins AOTD

You don’t even need to listen to any song from this album to know it will be insanely good, I mean it has one of the most distinctive punk vocalists, Jello Biafra (from the Dead Kennedys) and one of the heaviest and crazy experimental bands around at the moment, Melvins, together. That is bloody awesome!

The album essentially comes across as a more modern day Dead Kennedys, heavier, louder, and with more of a metal tinge to it, It is a very rock n roll style of playing for Melvins compared to normal and Jello’s voice is so distinctive it dominates the overall sound but is it a bad thing to have a heavier Dead Kennedys? Hell no!

Best song on the album is ‘Islamic Bomb’
