Album Of The Day: Down – Nola

down - nola AOTD

Take a singer and a bassist from one of the best metal bands to have ever existed add in guitar players from Corrosion of Conformity and Crowbar and a drummer from Eyehategod and you have one of the best and entirely not overrated supergroups in the world.

Playing bluesy sludge metal, they wrote Nola way back in 1995 in between other band commitments and they still managed to make one of the best albums of the genre.

Best song is probably ‘Bury Me In Smoke’. This video is from last years Download festival and you can see where I am because we had the pembs flag (looks like a swedish flag with an extra bit in the middle)

The full album can be found here on Spotify
